The verse ends with two names of Allah. Why these two? Because the night journey was, at its core, Allah’s response to the Prophet ﷺ after the Year of Sorrow — the year his beloved wife Khadijah and his uncle Abu Talib died, when Ta’if rejected him brutally, when his grief was at its peak. So, Next time, you go through any hardships in life, Remember that Allah hears and sees what we are going through and he rewards for every bit of it.
Also, When the prophet(pbuh) disclosed his night journey to the makkans, they started attacking him with foul languages. Mentioning the names of Allah here as “The All-seeing” and “The All-hearing” is also a reply to that mock so that our prophet(pbuh) remains focused on his mission as he knows that Allah is seeing it all and hearing as well.
Are we aware about with two names ? If yes, then hardships will become easy as we know that he will reward every seconds of it. Also, we’ll not be distracted by any kind of disturbance as we know we are followed by our master’s seeing and hearing.
