Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alamin wa sallallahu alaihi wasallam ala nabina Muhammad wa la alihi wa sahbihi ajmain. Alhamdulillahi understanding the Quran and thinking about its meaning, today is our third discussion on the journey we have started to act on the Quran , today we will discuss verses six and seven of Surah Al Baqarah, InshaAllah. You will be connected to us on the Telegram channel and I have two YouTube channels, one is Nasir Sharuk and the other is Two Minute Quran, generally religious

discussions are available on the channel where Nasir Sharuk is available, and the Two Minute Quran channel is specifically for regular reading of the Quran, where I explain the rules of Najeera and Tajweed, I give verses little by little, we are in the middle of Surah Surah Al Baqarah. There too, our goal is to complete the recitation of the entire Quran. Just as our goal here is to complete the interpretation of the entire Quran at least once. We ask Allah Subhanatala for help and that He may accept it from us and

give us the opportunity to convey the correct words about the Quran to the people. We have all kinds of links. There is one thing in the description of the YouTube video. If you go there, you will get all the links. The Telegram channel says everything. Yes, you will get everything. The two verses that we will discuss today have a very important discussion about their meaning. Therefore, we will do the discussion related to their grammar or semantics at the end, InshaAllah. Because at the beginning , it is important to focus a little more

on the meaning of these two verses and what we understood from these verses . Aujubillahi minash shaitanir rajim. Innallajna kaf alaih alahla sahab Allah Subhanatala says that those who are involved in disbelief will not believe whether you warn them or not. Why? In the next verse, Allah says that Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and there is a veil over their sight, and for them is a great punishment. We have seen the first five verses of Surah Al-Baqarah. They were about the pious and the characteristics of the pious

were discussed. Because only the pious will benefit from guidance from the Quran. That is why the characteristics of the pious have been mentioned with which we should always compare ourselves to see how far we have progressed in the competition of piety. Because getting guidance from the Quran depends on our level of piety. Then after these five verses, in the two verses after these five verses, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala tells us about the disbelievers and the external meaning of what is said in these two verses about the disbelievers is that whoever

is involved in disbelief, whether we warn them or not, will not believe. Because Allah has sealed their hearts and hearing and there is a veil over their sight. And for them is a great punishment. When we want to understand a verse of the Quran or a hadith. We must remember an important principle. And that is, all the verses of the Quran and all the pure Hadiths, that is, the Sunnah, are like a statement. The meaning of the words all together are like a statement is that the verses of the Quran and the Hadiths must be understood one by one. If

we try to understand the Quran or the Hadith, the Quran and the Hadith are together revelation. The Quran and the Sunnah are together revelation. We discussed this yesterday and will discuss it often. This whole thing is together revelation. So if we try to understand any one verse in isolation, separating it from all the other verses and Hadiths, or if we try to understand any one Hadith in isolation , separating it from all the other verses and Hadiths, then we will reach the wrong conclusion despite trying to understand something

from the Quran and Hadith . Understanding this is very important. Because it would not be an exaggeration to say that all the sects that have arisen in the name of Islam from the past to the present, all the divisions that have occurred, all the deviations that have occurred , all the people who have been confused in the name of Islam, all this confusion of theirs is based on misunderstanding the evidence of the Quran and Hadith . Because all those who have been confused in the name of Islam and have been divided into different sects

, all of them give evidence from the Quran and Hadith. All of them give evidence from some verse of the Quran or some Hadith. But they separate it from all other verses and Hadiths, rather it can be said that it is more clear and clear verses and clear Hadiths and make it their own. The opinion that wants to establish the opinion is presented as a document in favor of that opinion. This is the document in favor of the confusion of all the confused parties . A means of maintaining confusion. If I give a worldly example. Let me say that I am running an office or a

company. I called my manager and said that you should not give anyone leave before Eid. In any case, no one should take any leave outside the weekly holidays. Today, for some reason, this matter ended. Tomorrow, I told him the same thing again in the context of a conversation that you remember, but no one can be given leave before Eid. If there is an emergency case, it is different. Someone may suddenly fall ill or there may be some other emergency. And it has been said repeatedly at different times that we

have a rule, a list of rules in this organization, a chart of rules, that chart must be followed always and let’s say it is written there that if an employee has to appear in any court for an urgent case, he will definitely get leave. So, with these three rules together, we have got our complete rule. What I am saying is that what happens in the case of human speech? Now let’s say tomorrow an employee comes to this manager and asks for leave saying that I need it urgently, is there an emergency, I

have to appear in court for a land deposit case. Now if the manager says no sir, leave cannot be given before Eid, then undoubtedly when I face this manager later, I will scold him that I said that no one can go on a trip before Eid with leave or something like that which is not very necessary, but I also told you that someone will get leave in case of illness or any emergency . And besides, it is written in our office rules that anyone can get leave to appear in court. So why do you keep one of my words and

ignore the rest? That is why you see that many people, when they see that propaganda is being spread against someone, say that my statement has been presented in a fragmented manner. People never accept this. This is even more applicable in the case of Allah Subhanahu Taala. There is no chance of taking the statement of Allah Subhanahu Taala in a fragmented manner. I am asking you this time to establish this principle. Because before understanding these verses, we have to establish this principle.

I am bringing two verses in front of you. To explain this principle. Now I will give you an example with two verses of the Quran . If someone does not explain one part of the Quran with another part and through the Hadith, one through the other, one through the other, one in the light of the other , what will happen to him? He will be confused. Allah Subhaatala says, look at the first verse, Innallaha, which means that Allah Subhaatala does not forgive the crime of shirk. Look at the second verse, another verse, Innallahaha,

Allah forgives all sins. Now let’s say you give evidence with just one verse. Surely Allah does not forgive associating partners with him. A disbeliever has been associating partners with Allah for 50 years. Now he comes to you saying that he wants to convert to Islam. You tell him that Allah does not forgive associating partners with Allah. So there is no benefit in your converting to Islam. Another person read this second verse. Surely Allah forgives all sins. Then a person came to him and said that

my parents died in shirk. I told him that I will cry to Allah for them and pray. They died in shirk. I invited them to Islam but they did not accept Islam. You said that no, do not despair. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala forgives all sins. You keep praying for them. Maybe Allah will forgive them. In these two places, what happened because of understanding one verse in isolation in your own way? The wrong decision was made. When these two are combined and compared with all the verses, it will be known

that the first verse applies to those who died in shirk and did not repent. And the second verse applies to those who have repented. Allah forgives all sins through repentance. And the first verse that when will He not forgive the unbeliever of shirk? If he dies in shirk without repenting. He has not repented. He has known the truth. But still he has rejected the truth. He died without repenting. He was involved in polytheism. Allah will not forgive this crime. And Who does Allah forgive all sins? The one who repents. So if we

combine these two together, then we get our complete picture. The door of repentance is open until death. Even if there is an act of shirk and disbelief, if someone is a non-Muslim all his life and wants to convert to Islam in the last life, that door is open for him. Through repentance, that is, by converting to Islam, converting to Islam will be considered as repentance for him . By converting to Islam, he will be able to start a new account again and now his sin of shirk will be forgiven. Even if someone becomes an apostate in heart after converting to Islam

and then if he repents again, that repentance will also allow him to convert to Islam again. Even if he commits a sin a hundred times, he has a chance to return and no matter how big the sin is, if he repents, he will not be forgiven on the condition of repentance. When is it talking about after death? So you understood that we gave an example from which you understood that the Quran and Hadith should all be understood in the light of each other. That is why not doing this will create confusion. And what I have said is that

all the sects are confused in the name of Islam. They do exactly this. Let me give you an example. Someone asked what is Murtad meaning? Murtad meaning is apostasy. If someone leaves Islam after accepting Islam, may Allah protect us and forgive him. After accepting Islam, he left Islam. Leave Islam. In many ways, it is possible that he has done something that violates Islam. Today, due to lack of knowledge, people are constantly doing many things that violate Islam. Maybe he is joking about something in Islam and

does not realize that his Islam is being violated. Regarding those who abandon prayer, the companions thought that those who abandon prayer are no longer in the fold of Islam. However, abandoning prayer is not a problem for us. To be a Muslim, it is not necessary to perform prayer. In the era of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), a hypocrite also had to come to the mosque to maintain his Muslim identity. And we do not need to come to the mosque. Even if a person does not pray, if his birth certificate

is Muslim, if his passport is Muslim, then he can live in a Muslim society, get married, do everything, even if he does not pray even once, but we hear from the Tabi’ids that the companions did not consider him a Muslim and there is strong evidence in favor of this. That is why this opinion is very strong that a person who abandons prayer is no longer a Muslim. It is a terrible thing. In this way, there can be many more ways to apostasy . Which we do not know today due to our lack of knowledge. But what

I am talking about, my discussion today is not about apostasy. What I want to say in the example that I showed you is that if these two verses are combined correctly, then the meaning will be that even a crime like apostasy will be forgiven by Allah. Is there a chance for him to return to Islam even after leaving the religion ? Yes. I will give you an example of this confusion that I was talking about. There is a community called the Quran. I talk about them again and again. Why do you say that the teacher

talks about the Quran so often? There is a reason for that. The reason is that many are confused by them. And even though their name is the Quran, they say that we only accept the Quran. I have a full-length video on my channel, you will see it, it will be useful for you, Inshallah. If anyone says that I only accept the Quran and not the Hadith, then he is actually a denier of the Quran, so his name is wrong. The name of the Quran is wrong, but now for the convenience of discussion, I have named him this.

Let’s say that he is actually a denier of the Quran, but his name is the Quran. The name of the Quran is beautiful . Sometimes the name of the confusion is beautiful . There is evidence in the Quran for him. He gives evidence from the Quran. Mafarratnafil Kitabimishai. See, this discussion will also be useful. Today we are giving you a foundation to understand the sixth and seventh verses of Surah Baqarah . And this foundation will be very useful for you to understand all the verses of the Quran

, Inshallah. It will work for your whole life and understanding the Hadith. As an example of this, I will give a verse when he took Mafartnafil Kitamisha. Look, Allah says, “I have not neglected to mention anything in the Book. I have told you everything. So, is there any need for anything other than the Book? There is nothing else needed except the Quran. What does the evidence of the Quran say? The Book. Allah says that in the Book, that is, in the Quran, I have not omitted anything. I have neglected to mention anything. Everything

is there. So, what is the need to go beyond the Quran?” The words are very beautiful. But look, the first thing is that in this verse, the Book means the Quran. Where did you get this from? Because you do not believe in anything except the Quran, so you will not be able to prove that the book here means the Quran. Rather, there is a popular opinion in this verse that the book here does not mean the Quran, but the Preserved Tablet. Then I will tell him that the Arabic language that you are bragging about that I am understanding the Quran through Arabic is also

very little. Due to the lack of knowledge of Arabic, you thought that the book means a book in Arabic between two scrolls. But if you had knowledge of Arabic, then why would you have understood that the book means a letter in Arabic that is written in Arabic. If a page is given to me. Something written in the page is called a book in Arabic. Therefore, there is no such thing as a closed book instead of two scrolls. Number one. Even if number two is not taken. The book closed in two scrolls is being meant here. That is what is meant by the Quran

. Where did you get this? It is not called Al-Quran here. It is called the Book. Then come. Then even if you do not assume that Allah Ta’ala is talking about Al-Quran here. Then you did not neglect to say anything about Allah in Al-Quran. Allah did not neglect to say that you should obey the Messenger. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala has drawn your attention to one thing by turning it around in at least 50 to 100 verses in different ways . And he did not neglect to say that if you want guidance,

then if you follow the path of the Messenger and obey him, you will be guided. Allah has made it clear that accept what the Messenger gives you and abstain from what he forbids you. Why did you leave out these 50 verses with this one verse? If you are not a Quran denier, then you must be a Quran denier. Either you are completely ignorant about the Quran. You have read only one verse of the Quran. That cannot be. You say, “I am the Quran.” Then you read the rest of the verses. You left out one verse and left out the remaining 50-100 verses, which is where

Allah did not neglect to say that if we do not obey the Messenger, if we do not accept the Messenger as our guide in all matters, we will not have faith in the first year. How are you pushing them? It is clear that your confusion has become very clear. This is just an example because this sect is familiar to us. I gave an example to those who call themselves the Quran for this or there are many sects. Many sects people think that they have disappeared, but they come back in new ways and new guises. My main point is that the

failure to explain one part of the evidence of the Quran and Hadith with another part is a source of confusion. Therefore, we will say that the apparent meaning of the verse in question is not the intention. Now the apparent meaning of the verse that we are discussing is not the intention. Because if we look at the verse again and see what it means in the verse we are discussing today, the apparent meaning is the apparent meaning. The apparent meaning is that there is no benefit in warning the disbelievers. They will not believe

. Because Allah has sealed their hearts and there is no doubt. The one whose heart and hearing Allah has sealed and whose sight He has covered, there is no chance for guidance to enter his heart. There is no doubt, that is certain. So the apparent meaning of the verse is that there is no benefit in warning the disbelievers . But this is not the intention. Because other verses are the number one point. Why is it not the intention? For three reasons. Number one. Other verses and Hadiths have encouraged giving invitations and it is mentioned that it will be effective. If we

read the Quran and Hadith in its entirety, we will see in other verses that in many verses, the call is encouraged, “Invite to the path of your Lord with wisdom.” It is not enough to just go and call. Call with wisdom, so that it is acceptable to them. Hasanah is a good speech, a speech that touches the hearts of people and changes people. By Allah, this is my path. I call to Allah based on knowledge. Then I and my followers, then it is the work of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his followers to invite people. If

it were not for the work of invitation, then so much enthusiasm for invitation, so many virtues, number one, number two, and also the work that will be done by invitation. I will show you two. Point number two is that you see, think about it, many people in the later era, including the best generation of companions, have received the warning message but abandoned their disbelief and embraced Islam. What were the best generation of companions? What were they before accepting Islam ? The polytheists were infidels. Many of them were involved in shirk.

Most of them were involved in disbelief. After receiving the invitation to Islam, they accepted Islam and became the best people and the best people. So this verse is not applicable to everyone. The third thing we repeatedly say, if we want to verify how much we are on the truth, then our ultimate criterion is the statement of the Salaf. The statement of the three generations of the Companions and their followers. The same is true in the case of Tafsir. So if we go to their Tafsir, we will see that it will be clear to us and there

will be no room for doubt. This verse did not come for all the unbelievers. Before that, let us first look at some verses and hadiths where invitation is encouraged and there is evidence that the unbeliever receives guidance as a result of invitation. As you see in this verse, Allah Taala ajjalnalahnafalami the man who was dead then We gave him life and gave him light with which he walks among people kamatla minha is he like the man who is immersed in many layers of darkness and cannot get out of it then what does it mean that the man who was dead Allah gave life to him does it mean

that the heart of the man was dead because of disbelief Allah Subhanahu wa Taala gave him faith and guided him as the interpretation of this verse is Surah An’am verse 122 This interpretation is narrated by Ibn Abbas he said it means that he was a disbeliever so We gave him guidance he was a disbeliever then We gave him guidance and gave him life then the disbeliever also gets guidance see this beautiful hadith narrated by Saad bin Saad he says on the day of the battle of Khaibar the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

what was the battle of Khaibar against the Jews and in this battle the Jews رضي الله عنه They entered the fort and protected themselves, and for a long time the Muslims were unable to conquer their fort. They were unable to enter the fort. They had gone into defensive warfare. In this situation, one day the Messenger of Allah ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “I will give this flag tomorrow to a person in whose hands Allah will grant victory.” Then he said, “O Messenger of Allah, that person

loves Allah and His Messenger, and Allah and His Messenger love him.” This is a terrible declaration. This person is very fortunate. Allah and His Messenger have testified to their love for him. People started discussing all night. The companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) discussed who should be given this flag. In the morning, they went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). They all wanted me to give the flag. Was it because of the greed for leadership or because of that declaration that they understood

that the person to whom the flag would be given was the one loved by Allah and His Messenger. And who would not want to receive such great good news? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). This time, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Where is Ain Al-Ab Abtab?” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Where is the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?” He said, “What happened to him?

He did not come. He has a disease in his eyes. He sees the cause of his disease in his eyes. Whoever Allah will give him honor will be called. Bring him. He is not fit to fight with me , but Allah, the Messenger of Allah, has chosen him.” The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) brought him and sprinkled some saliva in his eyes or applied it to his eyes and prayed for him. Then Allah made him as ill as if he had no illness. He gave him a flag and brought him and said, ” O Messenger of Allah, we will fight them until they join us

.” The interpreter says that he will fight until they become Muslims. What do you mean, you will gradually become weak until Islam reaches their land, then call them to Islam and inform them of the rights of Allah over them in Islam. By Allah, by Allah, if Allah guides a person through you, it is better for you than a red camel. A valuable asset of the Arabs was the red camel, which was called the Hum. That is, it is better for you than having a lot of valuable wealth or giving charity with that wealth. If

Allah guides a person through you, that is why Islam has encouraged people to work to guide them in various ways. If someone gets guidance, be it through your invitation, directly or if you give them a book, a lecture, or bring them to a program, people can do the work of invitation in many ways. If Allah guides a person through this, then the reward for it will go to you. In the Amalnama. This is the translation of the Hadith that I have done. You can also keep the screenshot. Also, you know that the notes of the Telegram group are given to you.

So you will get it InshaAllah. There is no reason to worry. So I understood from this Hadith that an unbeliever can definitely get guidance. Look at this Hadith. A wonderful Hadith. May Allah be pleased with him and his family. A Jewish boy used to serve the Prophet. He once fell ill. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to see him, he came to visit his illness, he sat at his head, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came and invited him to embrace Islam,

he looked at his father, his father was Jewish, as if he was asking for permission, then the father said to him, “Come, Abul Qasim, obey Abul Qasim.” That is, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Obey Abul Qasim. ” The father did not accept Islam, but the child accepted Islam. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) left saying this, “Alhamdulillah, all praise is due to Allah, who saved him from Hellfire.”

So it is clear to us that the invitation will be effective. Then if we look at the interpretation of this verse by the Salaf, we find three opinions. The commentators of the three generations of the Companions, one after the other, have different opinions on how they understood this verse . It is the same for the disbelievers to be warned or not, because Allah has sealed their hearts. This verse has three interpretations from the best three generations of the Companions in the interpretation of this verse.

If any of you know Arabic, you will easily find these interpretations in this book. Mawsatu Tafsir Al Masur is like a huge encyclopedia of 24 volumes. Here, all the statements of the Salaf in the interpretation of the entire Quran have been put in one place. We have collected them from here. Alhamdulillah, this task has become easy for people like us who know a little Arabic, otherwise it was a little difficult to find all the interpretations of these Salaf in one place. It was available before. But now it is much

easier to find than before, as much research was required . So who are the unbelievers mentioned here in the interpretation of this verse ? Among these three opinions, the first opinion is that it is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was very keen on the guidance of all, so Allah informed him that those whose fate is destined for disbelief will not be guided, meaning that a group of disbelievers are destined for disbelief, and Allah knows in advance

who they are. No matter how much you invite, no matter how much you want everyone to embrace Islam, there will always be a group of disbelievers who will not embrace Islam. You know that Ibn Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) was a great scholar of recent times. He mentioned in his commentary that there is comfort in this for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). It is a kind of comfort. That not everyone will be guided. Not everyone will be guided. The second statement is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him). He

says that this applies to certain people, including Jewish scholars and the hypocrites of the Aws Khazraj tribe . It applies to some Jewish scholars and some hypocrite leaders who will not actually believe. Because they have deliberately chosen to be misguided. Because the Jewish scholars knew from their books that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is the true Prophet. So if they are not ready to accept the information they have received from their own books, whether because of jealousy or greed for leadership,

then even if they are invited, they will not accept guidance. But even then they will be invited. Even then, we will invite people because we do not know who is destined to be guided and who is not, to follow the path of the Prophet who conveyed the truth to the people . So here too, it is understood that it does not apply to all disbelievers. The third opinion, which is narrated from Abu Al-Aliyyah, is that he is a Tabi’. That it applies to the leaders of Quraysh. Those who died in the battle of Badr. Abu Jahl. Then Umayyah ibn Khalaf.

Then there is Al-Walid ibn Maghira. There are those who, Rabi’ah, persisted in disbelief and polytheism, opposing the Messenger of Allah until, due to their arrogance, they came to destroy the Muslims in the Battle of Badr, and they themselves died while persisting in this polytheism and disbelief. This verse applies to them. So one thing to note is that these opinions are different opinions but they are not actually contradictory. All of them are like examples. That means everyone wants to say one thing that

this verse does not apply to all unbelievers. Rather, it applies to a part of them and who are they? As an example, they gave these statements. Someone said that they were the leaders who were killed in the Battle of Badr, they undoubtedly became one of them . We understood that because they died, they died on polytheism . Or this opinion of the Jewish scholars is also correct. And the leaders of the hypocrites of the Aus Khazraj world who did not repent and return or accept Islam, we are also sure that they are included in it.

Likewise, the first opinion that is generally accepted is that if we want to say in the light of a general principle that those whose fate is written in their destiny will not be guided, they are certainly included in this verse. Many people are asking about this book during the Masuatut Tafsir Al Masur Masu means Encyclopedia Tafsir Masur means the interpretation that is narrated as Asar, that is, as the statement of the predecessors . However, if you are with us in these discussions, you will know many good interpretations including this interpretation, God willing.

Therefore, the Salaf agree that the verse does not apply to all unbelievers. This one thing can come from the statements of these Salaf. Although they gave different examples to illustrate the case, the summary of their main point is that the verse does not apply to all unbelievers, so it is as if the disbelievers were not warned, they will not believe because Allah has sealed their hearts and hearing, and there is a veil over their sight. These words do not apply to all unbelievers. Now let us

explain the second verse because this second verse is also a very important link to our creed. What do we have to do from the Quran? We said one thing at the beginning and we say it again and again? We have to purify our creed in the light of the teachings of the Quran. We have to purify our actions. We have to make our morals beautiful. Creed, actions, and morals must reflect the teachings of the Quran in these three places . Then we have to purify our creed from the Quran. That is why this seventh

verse is very important and we will spend the rest of the time on it. You have to be patient but listen to my words. Today, there is less to see and more to hear. We are in an era where we cannot concentrate while listening to anything . May Allah increase our concentration. So today I will not show you much. But you should listen to what I say and understand. I show you the texts, so you will not understand it when you read it, and if I explain it, it will be easier for you. This verse is saying that

the reason why a part of them will not believe is that Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing and their eyes have been covered. In the explanation of this verse, we will bring the statements of four people. Saeed Al-Maqburi, he is a Tabi’i. His tafsir is one line of Imam Atbari (may Allah have mercy on him) among the commentators. Among the authors of this book of tafsir, the Imam of the very early period can be called the leader of the commentators. And there is a wonderful statement by Ibn Al-Qayyim. We will see the context of this verse, which is Alhamdulillah.

Allah, the Exalted, guided me to this statement yesterday. He gave guidance. Because guidance is a continuous process. Look, I have read this verse many times in my life. I remember this verse. When I was very young, I did not mean acquiring knowledge of religion or anything like that. But I had an interest in the Quran. When I was very young, I remember reading this verse in the translation of the Islamic Foundation and since then I had some questions. I got the answer to the question a long time ago, Alhamdulillah. So, whenever this verse

comes up for discussion or has to be translated, I read it again and again. But look, after all this time, on the occasion of discussing it in front of you, Allah Subhanahu Wa Taala gave me guidance by giving me the statement of Ibnul Qayyim. Which is the best statement I have read about this verse. The summary of all those who need to know about this verse is the statement of Qayyim in the book Tashifaul Alil, I found it in the book Alhamdulillah, Allah Subhanahu Wa Taala gave me this. We must always ask Allah for guidance while reading

because guidance is not a single thing that people misunderstand. That is why we are taught to say Ihdinas Siratul Mustaqim at least 17 times a day, but we do not understand its importance. I do not understand the importance of asking Allah for guidance. Every moment I need new guidance if we want to follow Islam, if we want to reach Paradise, if we want to reach the message of Allah and this guidance is new guidance, why do we need to know something very important, a scholar from 700 years ago wrote it, it

has been in books for so many years but I can’t find it, today I found it, why do you know the answer to this, it will be for all of us, it will be for you, it will be for me, such a beautiful lecture has been on some channel on some website for a long time, but you, I needed it, I don’t know, Allah, why did I get it today, because I was deprived of this guidance due to my sins, the simple answer is reality and we will see this today in the discussion of Ekhatam Allah Ala Qulubim, although the verse is coming in the context of the disbelievers, we also

have some things to fear, we will see this and the third statement of Ibn Kathir goes on. First, let’s see the statement of Saeed Al Makhi here, it is written in front of you because it is one line, their hearts have been sealed because of their disbelief, why have their hearts been sealed, this question may arise in someone’s mind. And if you seal it, how will you receive guidance? If the heart is sealed, then guidance will not enter it. So what is their fault? Saeed Al-Maquri (may Allah have mercy on him)

answered this very briefly: Their hearts have been sealed because of their disbelief. That is, it is a punishment for their previous disbelief. Now I will tell you a little about Imam Atbari’s statement in the context of this verse. My words will be mixed and I will not show you the writing here. If you listen to what I say, you will focus on the words. Because if I give you the writing, you will not understand the writing while reading it. You will not understand my words. It is a little difficult to translate and understand the statements of the scholars of the ancient times

. That is why you have to be patient with me . Imam Ibn Jarir said, meaning Tabari Imam Tabari (may Allah have mercy on him) said, “Some say that Allah has sealed their hearts with the words of Allah, this means informing them about their arrogance and their indifference to listening to the call to the truth that they have been called to. Imamatbari will refute one thing here. He will refute a misinterpretation of this verse. And first, what does he say about the misinterpretation? Some say. What do some say?

That Allah has sealed their hearts means this is a kind of metaphor. It is a metaphor. Some say, so what is the Imamate of Tabari refuting? Those who say that Allah has not sealed the heart, but has bewitched it, are saying this in a metaphorical sense. In English, it is called metaphor. In Arabic, it is called Majaz. In Bengali, it means metaphor. The exact meaning is not understood. Here it is meant that there is arrogance and indifference to the truth in their hearts, as a result of which they are not accepting the truth. As it is said,

Imam Tawari says, their statement is like saying that such and such a person is deaf to this when he refuses to listen out of arrogance and does not want to understand. That is, he is not actually deaf, but what is being said ? That he does not want to hear the wise. What is actually being meant is that he has inward arrogance. This time Imamate Tabari says that this interpretation is not correct. Because Allah Almighty Himself has stated that He has sealed their hearts and all their powers. That is, those who take this verse in a metaphorical sense.

That is, they want to say that Allah did not actually seal it. By sealing it, it is meant that they have pride in their hearts. And their explanation that they have indifference to the truth is not correct. Although it is correct that they have pride and indifference in their hearts. There is no discussion about that. But when Allah says that He has sealed it, it does not mean that pride and indifference is meant. Rather, what is said is meant. Allah seals their hearts. Ibn Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him). Now let us come to Ibn Kathir’s statement

. He is now quoting the rest of Imam Tabari’s statement and saying, “I am talking about who is saying Ibn Kathir? Ibn Kathir is much later. Tabari’s imamate is much older than Ibn Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him). He is saying My point in his commentary is that to prove what Tabari has refuted here, Zamakshari has discussed it at length and misinterpreted the verse in five ways, all of which are very weak. His Mu’tazilite creed only inspired him to do this. Now Imam Ibn Kathir is further explaining that

another commentator has tried to prove the point that Imamate Tabari has refuted. The name of that commentator is Zamakshari. Zamakshari is a holder of the Mu’tazilite creed. As a result , he has misinterpreted this verse and tried to take it in a metaphorical sense and he has interpreted it in five ways. All of these are weak. Ibn Kathir says. Because it is unseemly for him to seal their hearts and prevent the truth from reaching them . According to his creed, Allah does not do that. This verse is said to seal Allah.

Where is Jamaks’ objection to accepting this, Ibn Kathir says. Jamaksh’s objection is that Allah sealing the heart is something he dislikes. That is, according to the Mu’tazilites’ creed, Allah does not do this. Because the Mu’tazilites believe that if Allah were to lead someone astray and seal their heart so that guidance does not reach it, then Allah would be unjust. What is his fault? He will not be guided. As a result, the Mu’tazilites believe that Allah does not seal the heart. Rather,

the Mu’tazilites believe that Allah does not guide anyone. He does not mislead anyone. Rather, more seriously, they believe that human actions are the creations of humans. Allah does not create. No, God forbid. They are a deeply misguided sect, and one of the commentators of that sect is Jamaksh. The Zamakshari Tafsir is very famous and famous because it is famous because of Balaga. Balaga is the science of rhetoric . If someone wants to understand the rhetoric of the Arabic language, if someone wants to understand the beauty of the Arabic language, especially the literary beauty of the Quran,

then they will understand it by reading Zamakshari. But reading Zamakshari Tafsir is very dangerous because Zamakshari was a follower of this confused belief of the Mutajjal. Due to lack of time, today we will not discuss this belief in detail. We will discuss it later, God willing. So, Zamakshari or Mutajj understand the objection that they want to say that Allah makes it a seal. Then Allah will become a tyrant. They have to have a choice. Now, Ibn Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him) gives the solution to this. He says that Ibn

Kathir says that if he, i.e. Zamakshari, understood this statement of Allah Almighty, then he has brought two verses. Ibn Kathir says that if he had understood these two verses, he would not have said what he said. I have summarized this. I have summarized it a little. He says it very beautifully. Now see, Ibn Kathir is talking about these two verses. Ibn Kathir says that if Jamashari had understood these two verses and similar verses, he would not have said what he said . So, by understanding these two verses, we will be able to understand

the issue of Allah sealing them . What are those two verses? Lammallah. Allah Almighty says in one verse that when they deviated, Allah made their hearts deviate. That is, when Allah makes the deviation by Allah, it is their own punishment for having deviated. The second verse is that in this verse, Allah says, “I will turn their hearts and their eyes away from the truth. I will turn them away from the truth. Because they did not believe in the Quran the first time.” Therefore, we must remember one basic principle, if we remember this, we

will not be confused about this matter. What is it? That is, the proof from Allah. That is, from Allah, leading someone astray is punishment. And punishment is justice. And justice is always good. Again, when Allah leads someone astray, seals someone’s heart and deprives them of guidance, this is a kind of punishment. It means that a crime has been committed before that. Point number one, point number two, is that punishment is being given with just justice. Is the appropriate punishment being given? Is justice and Allah gives appropriate punishment. And

justice is always praiseworthy. So when Allah leads someone astray, Allah deserves praise for it. And He does not do it just like that. This time we will finish today’s discussion by reading Ibn al-Qayyim’s statement. Because Ibn al-Qayyim’s statement is the most beautiful to me here. What are we discussing? I hope you understand. Khatam Allahu ala qulubibihim. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala has sealed the hearts of a group of disbelievers. No guidance can enter there anymore. What does it mean to seal the hearts? Seal Seal Seal

It is done. If a vessel is sealed, it means that what is inside it will not come out. And nothing will enter from outside until the seal is broken. That means that if Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala seals the heart of the unbeliever, hearing and sight, which are the means of receiving guidance, through which people perceive guidance, see with their eyes and hear with their ears, if all these are sealed, no light of faith will enter there, no disbelief will be able to come out of it. Bakr means crooked.

When they themselves became crooked, Allah made their hearts crooked. Mu’tazilah means Mu’tazilah is a sect. We will discuss this another time, God willing. Now, they are a misguided sect and their objection in this verse and similar verses is that Allah does not lead anyone astray by sealing them . But the solution is that we have already seen what Ibn Qas said that Allah has sealed their hearts as a punishment for their past disbelief. Now, if we read the words of Ibn al-Qayyim, many things will become clear

to us, God willing. Ibn al-Qayyim says that this is a matter where most people make mistakes and have ideas about Allah (swt) that are contrary to the claims of His names and attributes . That is, people make mistakes in this matter. He says that from the beginning to the end of the Quran, it proves that Allah (swt) does not seal or cover the heart of a servant at the beginning when He instructs him to believe and makes it clear to him, that is, when Allah first gives the command to believe, when the command to believe reaches a person and it is made clear to him,

then Allah does not seal his heart at the beginning. Rather, He does so when He repeatedly calls him. Repeatedly, clear descriptions and guidance are given. And they repeatedly turn away. They exaggerate in disbelief and a state of ignorance. Then their hearts are sealed. They are sealed. As a result, after that, their hearts do not accept guidance. In the first state, their disbelief and indifference were not with a seal or a seal. In Arabic, the two words are taba and khatam. The Bengali translation is very mushed. Close. So that is why

I am saying one seal and one seal. Someone may say that a seal and a seal are the same thing. Similar. What are you saying? Their disbelief and indifference in the first state was not with a seal or a seal. That means that even in the beginning there was disbelief in their hearts. Or indifference. Being indifference means that I do not need to see what is the truth, this is turning away from the truth. These were also in the beginning but were not with a seal. It was like that, rather it was their choice. They

chose it in the beginning. But when it started happening again and again from them, it became their nature and habit. That is, he is saying that when the truth comes in front of him again and again, he understands the truth, explains the truth to him in detail, then when he pushes it again and again, it becomes its nature and habit. Then Ibn Qayyim says, ” Think deeply about this matter in this statement of Allah Ta’ala. This verse, these two verses, this verse, he is talking about Surah Baqarah. It is clear that this provision

does not apply to all disbelievers in general. Rather, most of those who believed and accepted the Messenger as true were disbelievers before that. However, their hearts and hearing were not sealed. What does it mean that He drew attention to one thing? Allah did not seal it from the beginning. In the beginning, the heart was open. So these verses are about certain groups of disbelievers whom Allah punished in this world with this kind of advance punishment. Which I mentioned a little earlier. What is misguidance? A type of punishment. Just as He punished

some of them by turning them into monkeys and others by removing their eyes, this is how Allah punished the disbelievers in various ways who did not want to accept even after the signs came to them. Similarly, He gives a covering over the heart. Just as He punishes by covering the eyes, sometimes He gives a permanent punishment through guidance and sometimes for a while. This means that guidance can be for a while, which is also a punishment, but then Allah can forgive him and then give security to the servant and guide him. Just as He punishes through punishment

. In short, what became clear from the words of Ibn al-Qayyim is that from the beginning, a person does not have the seal given by Allah in his heart. That is, what is there from the beginning ? There is an opportunity to receive guidance from the beginning . But then When someone rejects despite the signs coming and the truth becoming clear, then as a punishment, Allah Subhana Taala seals the heart, so that guidance cannot enter it anymore. In this state, there is no way for him to accept guidance. This is but an advance punishment.

This is Allah Subhana Taala , your Lord does not oppress anyone. Allah has sealed the heart through oppression without showing anyone any sign and without giving anyone any opportunity. There is no opportunity to entertain this evil idea of Allah’s time. In the case of sin, that fear must be felt. Therefore, Imam Atta Rahmatullah Alaihi has considered the meaning of this verse to be similar to the meaning of the following hadith. What is the hadith? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of

Allah be upon him ) said that when a servant commits a sin, a black spot appears in his heart. If he gives up the sin, seeks forgiveness and repents, his heart becomes clean again. And if they keep on sinning, this spot keeps on increasing one after another, until finally Allah completely covers their heart. And this is the coating that Allah has mentioned in Surah Mutafifin Qallabalama Mutafifin. Allah does not say, but rather their sins have covered their hearts, so even if they sin like this, their hearts are covered. As a result, there is an obstacle in the way of guidance

. Therefore, we must also fear our sinful deeds. Anyway, Imam Tabari then explained this matter that just as if there is a seal in a vessel, nothing can enter or exit there . So is the condition of the heart. The result of this is that they do not see guidance. When Allah seals it, He puts a curtain on their sight. What does He do to the heart and ears? He seals it. What happens then? Those to whom that is done do not benefit from seeing guidance. Even if they hear guidance, the verses of the Quran or some responsible person

are inviting them, explaining the truth. He does not understand even when he hears. He cannot comprehend in his heart. This is narrated from Ibn Abbas. Muqatil and others. This is the result. Alhamdulillah. So the essence of six to six seven verses that we have found is Samari. Today’s discussion is that Allah shows the signs of the truth to the disbelievers. He makes the truth clear to them. Allah will do this. And I never punish without sending a Messenger. Allah says that from the beginning, Allah does not seal the heart. Where did I see this?

I saw the statement of Qaim Rahmatullah Ibn Kathir. If one clings to disbelief even after knowing the truth, Allah seals the heart as a punishment. While this seal is there, the path to guidance is closed. As a result, the invitation is not effective. The effect of sin also coats the heart, which can partially or completely obstruct guidance as a punishment. Therefore, sin can obstruct the path to guidance. There is this fear. We all have to fear this . Some of us may think that these verses are about disbelievers. Someone asked what does Ron mean? Ron means coating. Ron

does not mean black spot. Ron means coating. While reading black spot, let’s say you think that there is something on glass, what will happen if you read black spot on it? Light will not enter anymore. Like that. Well. Yes. If someone does istegfar, can he definitely come back through istegfar even after reading mohr or reading partial coating ? It is possible to come back. It is not impossible. But there is fear. There is fear. So sin can be an obstacle on the path of guidance. There is this fear. That is why we always have to ask for forgiveness. To repent, we repent.

We ask for forgiveness. We return to Allah again and again. Look at how much time Allah is giving us. If all these things seem difficult to you, just think about how much time Allah has given each of us. Think about it for a while. See how many sins we have committed. Do we still have the opportunity? Do we have the opportunity right now? Do we have the opportunity to repent and return to Allah? There is an opportunity right now. There will be more. Inshallah, I hope that many of us will have the opportunity for a long time. Even then,

if we do not have the opportunity, if we continue to sin, we have nothing to do but blame ourselves. The additional lesson of the verse is that it is the duty of a responsible person to deliver the invitation. There is no need to be overly concerned about guidance. And a subpoint of this is that many times, in order to please people, there is no need to bring about your own destruction by presenting the teachings of Islam incorrectly. Someone may ask me a question in reverse. In your Islam, the punishment for a thief is cutting off his hand. You do not ask him to please you.

The punishment for a thief is you, you do not understand it correctly. There is no need for time. You convey the message of Islam that yes, you are thinking about whether you should punish the thief or not. Why are you thinking about it? First, see if Islam is the true religion. See all the things of Islam. See all the features of Islam. See what the Quran says. Know about the Prophet Muhammad. Then you decide. There is no difficulty and we do not need to make any cuts. Are women in Islam? Do you keep the girls in the house? We do not keep them. Allah

Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala has made arrangements for the protection of women in Islam in such a way that women do not have to leave the house. All the responsibility of men is to keep them. This is protection because women are valuable to us. Women are not cheap products to us. They are not cheap products that have to be sold in the market. For you, women are a commodity. Yes, we have nothing to hide. Remember, whoever gets guidance will get it. We will present the truth. Whoever gets guidance will get it. So, as a responsible person,

we have received this direction. Today, from this place, our grammar discussion has started from this slide. We will do it today. We will do it next day, Insha Allah. We are in no hurry. Alhamdulillah. Learning is our main goal. To finish, that is, to finish the interpretation of the entire Quran in our lifetime, is our dream. But this is not our main target. The main target is to take our time and understand each verse and understand what is the lesson in it. We want to follow the path of the companions. Which

is narrated with the companions. One studied Surah Baqarah for seven to eight years. We follow this path. And if you want to finish in a hurry, then you have many ways. You have the translation, don’t read it. You can read the translation in a year. Read it. Read it along with that, there is no harm. There is no difficulty. But what will happen if we go this way in a hurry? You tell yourself. How much study did I have to do to collect these things. Alhamdulillah. So we will study this grammar tomorrow,

Insha Allah. That’s all for today. Subhanakam
